Welcome to the gathering place of our community of Apostoli Viae! We are so glad you're here!
The community of Apostoli Viae is a private association of the faithful whose mission is to live, light, and lead others to and through the path to union with God. Our spirituality is Carmelite, and we are completely committed to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. Feel free to explore our Blog where you can access our public posts that describe our charism. If you want more, we invite you to join our site. Our site is a place where members of our the Apostoli Viae community meet, chat, encourage one another, engage in formation, and discuss matters of importance in our service to God and His Church. Membership is free. You can join us by following these steps:
STEP 1: Click the "Join Us" button at the bottom of this page and complete the profile application. Please understand, our site is not an anonymous experience. It's a gathering place for members of the Apostoli Viae community. Protection and security is important to us as we are sure it is you. To protect our members and promote safety and security, we want to do all we can to make sure people are who they say they are. That is why we will ask for your full name--no initials. We will also ask for a profile photo. The photo should be of your face--not your family, your adorable pet, not you with someone else, not an icon, not a building, not a flower--you! Your profile pic should show clearly your entire face--without sunglasses, like a passport or driver's license photo. We want to see you! If you need help with this, let us know.
We will also ask you to write a short bio (at least three full sentences) of what is unique about you and what brought you here. Please don't use single words. Give us at least three full sentences. As a new member of our community, we want to get to know you a bit! Failure to follow instructions regarding this may delay your approval and we don't want that so please follow instructions.
STEP 2: Once your pre-member profile is approved, you will be directed to complete a New Member Orientation Course. We ask that you please do this within two to four weeks. The New Member Orientation will explain more about our community, our charism, our site, how we interact, how to access resources, etc. If, at any time, you want to rewatch any of the videos from the New Member Orientation Course, you can do so by clicking on CONTENT in the top menu, and then clicking on Courses.
STEP 3: Once you have completed the orientation, you will be approved to full community member status. You will be free to explore the site. We will add you to our Sojourners Group so that you can access the free bi-monthly formation. We will also add you to a private Group with others who live in your state or, outside of the US, your region. We suggest that you request to join our Library Group, All About the AV Charism Group, and Reflections From the Heart of the Charism Group in which Dan shares things related to our charism. There are many other Groups as well and you are also free to take the free courses we offer on the site.
