To Live the Way is to understand, wholeheartedly embrace, and joyfully live the contemplative life.
To Light the Way is to joyfully witness to, invite, reveal, and teach the contemplative path to all who thirst.
These are just two examples of many communities and groups within the world-wide family of Apostoli Viae. If you are just beginning to explore the charism, then the Sojourners group is the place to begin. We look forward to meeting you there!
This group is for those just beginning to explore the Apostoli Viae charism. As a participant in this group, you have access to our foundational document that describes our charism as well as regular meeting agendas and interaction with other Sojourners. As a Sojourner, you will automatically receive updates/links for upcoming formation meetings along with the agendas in your email in-box. You can always access them directly by logging into this site and group. You will also be able to interact with other Sojourners on the Way.
A disciple is drawn to and committed to the interior life. They desire to deepen their relationship with God and recognize and nurture this call in and through camaraderie, solidarity, and active participation with the community and works of the Way. After a period as a Sojourner, they express interest in the Way, and if after a period of discernment, are admitted, begin to live out a rule of life (or plan of love) specific to the charism. The foundational commitments of a Disciple are to daily mental prayer and the examen.
Here you will find insight into our charism through answers to common questions and specific formation related to what it means to draw ever more deeply from the mystical of the Water of Life.
At SpiritualDirection.com you will find thousands of posts, videos, and podcasts dedicated to the advancement of authentic Catholic mystical tradition.
